One more for the wishlist...
While doing an extensive find&replace to modify some colors, I thought why not allow 'same' in many other places? You often have many objects with identical colors, images. Maybe even more, srcindex springs to mind.
Like:
<box ....... fgcolor=#278655 bgcolor=#983456 ..... />
<box ...... fgcolor=same bgcolor=same ..... />
<img ...... src="foo.png" ...... />
<img ...... src=same ...... />
