Hello, I tried out your skin and I like it. There are only 2 problems with it though.

1) the resolution. Could you please make the skin to a 1366 x 768 resolution? This is because I am facing problems with the 1024 x 768 skin on my monitor.


2) I also noticed that we do not have the function of changing the bottom text. (***WELCOME***)

The skin scales. It works on any resolution. Besides that you can click the 'eye' icon at the top right to finetune the appearance for the individual screens. You are not confused with the non-scaling V2 skin, are you?

No, not from a configuration screen. But feel free to unzip covers.sj from the skin and change the text (seek for 'WELCOME'). Then just put the changed file back into the *.sjs.

Naturally this could be changed, but it is intentional. All design choices are based on newbie- or party-use, and the changes that someone wants to queue two tracks from the same album are much lower than queuing tracks from all over the place.

Adding the choice of returning to either the album screen or the mainscreen could be an alternative, but adding this choice would mean another button and another user-decision-point. For this skin I really want the number of user-choices as low as possible.

You can't. Double clicking in V2 was accidental functionality and unsupported.

Normally on a touchscreen you'd want doubleclicking turned off. Note I'm talking public access dedicated software here, trying to control a default windows installation with a touchscreen is just freaky hobbyism in my book.

Thanks ever so much for this skin... it's easily the most touchscreen friendly skin i've seen for silverjuke and is the closest you can get to a proper solid coin op digital jukebox.

Do you have any plans to release more skins? If so, I'd like to put in a request! a 'sound surfer' style skin, to make these boxes look like the ones in the pub with genre selection etc and big colourful buttons!


In fact maybe Silverjuke themselves should help you make it...afterall it seems to have gone dead quiet on the update front!

SE, I finally started testing the latest Silverjuke with your Beta 13. I'm very impressed, it really has become the party jukebox system I've always dreamed about. Of course, I was able to come up with a few suggestions on improving it ;)

1. For albums with 'Various' as the artist, I'd like to emphasis the album name more strongly. Would any of the following be possible?

- Remove the 'Various' artist name from an album display, and just list the album name?

- Swap the font sizes of the artist name and album name

- Swap the positions of the artist name and album name

2. With shuffle enabled and a modest sized queue, the names and total number of remaining tracks can jump around a lot. It's not a big deal, but it can be confusing to users who don't understand why they can't see their track coming up. Could this be smoothed out somehow? Or could we have the option of hiding this info entirely (the option I would actually prefer).

As always, thanks for your work on this wonderful skin.
