New forums: Completed Skins, Scripts and Modules

We have just created two new forums, and .

Easy to suggest, these forums should be used for completed skins, scripts and modules.

Any completed, ready to use, downloads are just moved by us to the correct forums.

For the future, please post your completed skins, scripts and modules in these forums - this will keep this developer forum clearer and people who are not interested in developing will find your creations easier.

If you have any questions, you're welcome to post them here

BTW: Can you also put the graphite skin from the english forum "Creating Skins, Scripts and Moduls" to the new forum "Completed Skins" (as you've done in the german forum)?

(Yeah, it's me again...)

I think the separate forum is a great improvement, but might I wish for one step further? I'd like it if there was a separate system to upload the skins somehow, or maybe just a way to link to the most recent post for a skin.

What I mean is that I just posted an updated version of the BrickBox, and I could not find any way to edit my opening post or something like that to make sure any new user would find the 1.1 update. (Also I guessed posting a new thread for every point-release was probably not your intention, correct me if I'm wrong there).
As I was curious I noted the download count for the 1.0 and indeed it did raise even after I posted the 1.1 update.

For a casual user I think a dedicated part of the site for the most actual downloads would make for the best experience. If I might add an external link for an idea of what I mean - it's from a program I use with a similar active userbase:

Hello SilverEagle,

our recommendation for updates is the edit the first post with the download. This will keep the last version in the first entry.

To edit your posts, just click on the small "Edit this message" link below the title of the post to edit:

In the edit formular, you can also update the attached files, for this purpose, first chose the file to upload and click on "Update attachment" instead of "Add attachment". This will also preserve the download counter.

Sorry - must have been asleep... If I reconstruct my problem I think I was using a different browser at the time (I use four of them ) which was not logged in to the forum. Which certainly explains why I was not able to edit my post
