Karaoke cdg

I have purchased a digital juke box from Juke Box 45 which has Silverjuke 2.51 pre-installed but would like to use it for Karaoke. Could anyone tell me if i can purchase and install the Karaoke version from Silverjuke and use both on the same computer?

I have used this link to update Silverjuke 2.51 I have installed a file with Karaoke music on and a file with CDG on but all it does when i click on the visualisation prompt when playing karaoke music is, it plays the title of the song only and does not carry on and play the words?

Maybe you have to switch over to the karaoke prompt using the gray menu atop of the screen:

Anyword on opening Karaoke files contained in zip files?
This would be a a great module since most digital karaoke files are already in zip files.

How are the files inside your MP3+CDG-ZIP named? If they are named using the common convetions (same file name, different extension), reading ZIP files should work if "Settings / My music / Options / Read inside ZIP" is checked. Of course, this is not a special karaoke option.

We have not seen ZIPped MP3-CDG as a standard yet, if you like, you can send us an example file to drsilver@silverjuke.net and we will see what we can do.
