Hi,
im using silverjuke on a mac with an external soundcard, audiofire2, but i only get 1 channel. And if i select the built in sound device it works ok (but with crappy quality). does this sound familiar to anyone? and is there a solution? Itunes works perfectly with this card but silverjuke seems to have an output issue with it.
Thanks in advance
Compatibility issue
Re: Compatibility issue
Have you tried the FX options for the speaker settings?
To enable them, go to "Settings / FX / Setup" and add the "Speaker" stuff.
Then, try to play around with the two additional sliders ... Maybe this helps ...

B.

Hello Service-team,
Glad to here something. Only it is no hint but cry for help.
Is it going to be about a week? a month? We really like to get those mini-mac's up and running. It has cost us about 20k euro right now. We spend way to much hours into it.
I already know Silverjuke is more a windows program then an OS-X program but please, help any-one?
regards,
Vince

Re: Compatibility issue
Well, we expect an update for the windows version the next weeks, the mac update will be about a week later. As we have updated some driver stuff for both versions, maybe, this update will fix your problems.
Sorry, that we cannot give your more detailed information currently.

Re: Compatibility issue
mmm,
do you have any idea what it could be? then I can ask some it-specialists if they can fix it. this is taking way too long. before we bought the program we did take a look on this website. it seems like it is no problem to run silverjuke with apple losless and an external soundcard with OS-X but we only have problems with the whole setup. maybe there could be a warning on the site for mac-users that it isnt running with all options? should be nice.
kind regards,
Vince

Re: Compatibility issue
One year has gone past and I would still appreciate a fix for the 1-channel only problem as well. Seems to happen with any external soundcard regardless of vendor.
As for file formats - I have settled for FLAC a while ago.
Best regards,
Michael
