Thanks for the quick response to the last post! Very much appreciated!!!
Loving S.J. more & more each day (still tweaking it)
I have a couple of questions I would like to ask and some suggestions if that’s OK
1. Is there any way to Batch Process the albums you wish to exclude from the “Include folder to the update process” i.e. Highlight all the albums you wish to exclude from the update process as I have just added over 400 albums to my current ‘S.J. Music Library’ and am not looking forward to having to excluding each and every album from the update procedure on a per album basis…? Or even change the process so you only have to mark the albums you wish to update once they have been added to the library, as opposed to the current procedure of excluding each album from the update process!
2. I have many albums by certain artists (i.e. Bob Marley (32), Elvis Presley (48)(for Example)) and am not keen on seeing a full line of albums by one artist In ‘Album view’. However, I would like to see only one image of that particular artist in ‘cover view’ and in album view with all of the albums listed in chronological order below! Only when I do this there doesn’t seem to be a way of showing the album title & year other than CD1, CD2, and CD3 etc. etc.
3. I have also been playing around with some Karaoke software and found one that allows you to link an Image of your own to a particular song. So when singing ‘I did it my way’ by Frank Sinatra You can see a picture behind the text that contains an image of said artist & details of song etc. etc. I am aware that you can choose a folder of Images to be shown at random behind the text but would love to be able to link an Image to a song…! This would also be appreciated if it could be the case for any song In SJ regardless of Jukebox / Karaoke choice.
Maybe something for the future!!!
I recently purchased Silverjuke after months of evaluation and having to listening to “Silverjuke Is running”. (Sorry). It is taking some time to understand the complexities of this software! I have also tried many types of jukebox software and have found nothing that comes close to the Silverjuke.
All I can say is ‘Thanks to all the bright sparks working at S.J. for producing a first class bit of kit…!

Okay - done
With the next update, Silverjuke >2.51, there will be a new option in the karaoke prompt's menu: Use *.bg.jpg-files:
If selected, Silverjuke will use the following files as background images: <NameOfTrack>.bg.jpg or album.bg.jpg - if none of these files exist, the normal background is used. Instead of *.bg.jpg, you can also use *.bg.png or *.bg.gif.
Best regards,
