Hi,
is it possible to parameter-set the way covers of the albums are managed when no picture is available for an album (i.e. colour, font & size,...)

No. Silverjuke chooses a colour and a font by a random number calculated from some album parameters as artist or album name. This also lets the generated album covers of the same artist look "similar".
In general, I think, it is easier to select/search an image than playing around with parameters for some very simple covers.
