muffled sound on silverjuke

my setup was working fine with silverjuke (soundwise) until this past weekend, my system is now playing very muffled audio. i purchased a new sound card and im waiting for it via ups. Can someone tell me the best soundcard avail?

Hello Guest,

maybe your new soundcard requires sightly different settings in Silverjuke. Can you please try to change the option "Use hardware" at "Settings / Playback / Devices?". Please also have a look at the buffer size and at the samplerate.

If you think, the sound is too quiet, please check the option "Audio-output: Use system volume" at "Settings / Adv. / Further options".

I have the same problem but it only happens when I have
microphone 1 enabled as an audio device.
