Read music from ISO-files

Hi!

Wouldn't it be nice to have a function in Silverjuke that could read whole ISO-images of Audio-CDs? So you would not have any quality loss and could have Tags at the same time (via on offline version of freedb, for example).

Isn't FLAC the better solution for this? FLAC is also lossless but supports tagging and the files are about 50% smaller. FLAC files can easily be created using eg. Exact Audio Copy.

That's right - but I like to have real exact copies of CDs so that I can burn them at a later time, including the correct TOC.

If you let Exact Audio Copy save a CUE-Sheet together with the created files, you should be able to reproduce an exact copy from these files later.

naja, wirklich sinnvoll halte ich eine native ISO-Unterstützung von SJ ehrlich gesagt nicht... die Deamon-Tools können sowas ja auch
