Karaoke Lyrics Stutter When Searching

I noticed that the karaoke lyrics stop when searching (music continues to play) and then the lyrics pick up when search is complete. Same the occurs when using Last.fm Similar tool.

My only work around this is to turn off search while typing. Last.fm Similar tool still makes the lyrics freeze though. Also noticed that it freezes if you have Visualizations on too.
