Okay, I've screwed up this time.
I have two sets of audio files, lossless and MP3s. My albums were ripped as lossless, and I like the way that Silverjuke arranges them as albums in alphabetical order.
I'd like to keep all of the crummy MP3s away from the main group, so I created a folder called "99 MP3s" and put them in there. I added the 99 so that the directory would show up at the end - after the Z's.
Silverjuke has pulled some (just some) of those MP3s, and arranged them into albums in my regular alphabetical listings.
How do I fix this?

Please have a look at the documentation at the section "Combine tracks to albums"
http://www.silverjuke.net/user-guide/co ... lbums.html
Have you set the combine tracks to albums option to directory?
Maybe you have some tracks with same artist / album tags that fits the conditions to be treated like one album

I've tried different options with no luck.
The assorted MP3 files are arranged into folders, and I'd to have them appear as such within Silverjuke.
Silverjuke is ignoring the folder names, reading the ID tags in the files, and is then putting them into "albums".
Obviously I've missed something here.
I should probably strip the ID3 tags.....

But the albums (the collections of titles) as such are correct? The album name etc. are currently always taken from the ID3 tags, if present ...

... or wait for the next version (first beta this week), where there will an option for ignoring the ID3 tags (see the source options dialog then).

Yes, it's taking the pile of assorted MP#s, reading the tags, and putting a few tracks in one album, a few more in another, etc, etc, when I really just wanted all of the tracks to stay together.

That may not be the best option for me as I still want Silverjuke to arrange my lossless ripped albums as "albums". It's just the assorted low bitrate MP3s that I'd like to stay together in an "assorted" folder. Stripping the tags may be the only way to go.

Re: Combine Tracks To Albums
The new "Read ID3 tags" option is a per-folder (per-source) setting, so you can decide to read the tags from the files in one folder while using the file/foldername for the other folder.
Which lossless format do you use? In the upcoming version, tags can also be read from FLAC and from Monkey's Audio files.

WMA-metatags will also be read (not written) in the upcoming version; however, I'm not sure if the lossless variation uses the same metatag structure as "normal" WMA-files do. Just give it a try.
