Equalizer

Postby Service-Team » 21. Feb 16, 17:14

We plan a new, native equalizer for the next Silverjuke-Version, any comments to this are welcome here or at https://github.com/r10s/silverjuke/issues/68

Best regards
Your Silverjuke-Team

YESSSSSSSSS :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

(is this comment enough) ;-)

Seriously: I'm very, very pleased to see this option returning in Silverjuke.
It's the main reason why I'm still using Silverjuke 3.04.

One humble request though: Can you build in separate EQ settings for normal playback and pre-listen (like in 3.04)?
Personally I'm not interested in all the other FX options, but EQ is a must have.

Just a little preview, the Equalizer is already working, we've decided to use Naoki Shibata's SuperEQ, the same that is also used in foobar.

"It [SuperEQ] uses FIR filter with 16383 taps, which is substantially longer than other equalizers. Although it has many knobs to change frequency characteristics, it does not degrade audio quality."

Hi Silverjuke Team,

Will there also be a general PreAmp slider with this EQ?

OK, thanx for explaining.
I'm looking forward to start using SJ with the new EQ option.
