Hi SilverJuke Team,
I'm leaving Windows OS and I'm about to switch to Linux.
Currently I'm looking for a Linux distro that serves my needs the most.
Having checked several major distro's like Fedora, Redhat, CentOs and Ubunto, but they all miss Silverjuke in their repositories.
So my question is:
What Linux distro does offer Silverjuke?
Which Linux distro has Silverjuke?

Re: Which Linux distro has Silverjuke?
Some known packages:
Debian: https://packages.debian.org/sid/sound/silverjuke
Ubuntu: http://packages.ubuntu.com/de/xenial/silverjuke , http://packages.ubuntu.com/de/wily/silverjuke
OpenSuse: http://pkgs.org/opensuse-13.2/opensuse- ... 6.rpm.html
Debian is very up-to-date, some older versions will also work, however, there were lots of bug fixes the last days. If you run into any problems after installing the package it might be a good idea to compile the latest version yourself.
Of course, sooner or later the packages will also be updated - but none of them is maintained directly by us.
Best regards,
Your Silverjuke-Team

Re: Which Linux distro has Silverjuke?
Hi Ed!
I am not sure if installing helps, as i never worked with Elementary OS!
But it seems there are solutions to create your own starter and point it to the silverjuke executable
https://elementaryos.stackexchange.com/ ... o-the-dock
by the way
the reason why i am not installing silverjuke to the system:
The Team seems to develop very regular right now, and if you delete the silverjuke folder & do the git clone again
you have a very easy and fast way to get the latest version & can benefit from their hard work and changes
The configuration is not affected, cause it is saved in a different directory (/home/username/.config/silverjuke)
regards
Luigi
