VST Effects Settings Not Retained (3.01)

I have a multiband compressor VST plugin that I use to make the audio consistent (Izotope Ozone 3).

It works great, but the plugin functionality in SilverJuke is very buggy when it comes to plugin settings.

- If I set it up, then exit the plugins dialog, the settings all revert to default / inactive (like I just installed the plugin).

- If I set it up and click the "Menu" button on my way to "Save Izotope Ozone 3 parameters", the first click on the menu button resets my settings to the empty defaults.

So, there is no way for me to use my plugin as it is impossible to save my final settings.

I have used this plugin for years in a variety of roles and I've never had these kinds of issues with it.

I'm running SilverJuke 3.01 on a fresh Windows XP Pro machine (32 bit).

Do you have the same issues with other plugins?

Normally, Silverjuke supports the standard way to load/save effect plugin parameters. Maybe Ozone uses its own way to save some settings?

However, we will have a look on this.

I found a work-around that may help...

1. I remove the plugin from the chain
2. I re-add it but don't enable it
3. I recall my settings with the plugins own setting system
4. I enable it

With this method, the settings are retained through restarts (as long as I don't click the menu button on the SilverJuke FX dialog).

This plugin has a huge number of settings involved, so maybe its exceeding some kind of string size limitation somewhere in SilverJuke?
