Playback error -1

Hello,

I am using silverjuke about a year, no problem so far.. (even bought a multi-pc license). But now I bought a new soundcard (a Asus Xonar D1 PCI card) for better sound than the onboard ac97 sound. And silverjuke doens't play sound with the new audiocard!

I reinstalled windows xp pro (sp3), installed the newest drivers for the Asus card (and in windows, and windows media player the sound is playing and good!!) Only silverjuke doenst play sound.

Does anyone know a solution? I realy like silverjuke, but when its not combatible with my soundcard I must look further :(.

Have you tried different settings for Playback?

Eg. select another device at "Settings / Playback / Devices / Audio-output" or play around with the "Use hardware" and with "Samplerate". Sometimes sound cards are funny.

Moreover, for hardware problems, also check other system components. Eg. often, old video drivers make problems with sound cards etc.

maybe a little late, but now I know how I solved the problem. I reinstalled my musicpc with windows 7, and the problem was back :P.

In the Asus Xonar driver software (Xonar D1 Audio Center) you must turn of 'GX', default on. I have no idea what it is, or wat is does.. but it works :).
