I currently use itunes to catalog my songs (mainly because I also sync with my ipod), then sync with my NAS. On three separate occasions now, I have imported 20-30 albums, used itunes to get the cover art, and synced with my NAS, then refreshed my jukebox, only to find that most of the covers aren't there. I have to manually go into the Get Info, then find a lower quality image off of amazon and put it in there, then re-copy. When I initially copied over my library, most of the covers transferred over as well.. but not all of them
My question is, is there a problem with the images that itunes gets when you choose Get Album Cover Art? If it makes any difference, I'm using the Blue Touch skin and 2.73.
Importing covers from itunes
Re: Importing covers from itunes
It depends where iTunes copies the cover art to. AFAIK cover arts added by iTunes may be hidden, so make sure, these files will be read (see "My Music / Options / Read hidden files" in Silverjuke). Moreover, check, if iTunes copies the covers to the same directory as the MP3-files or embed them to the MP3-files. Finally, in Silverjuke, you have to update the library (hit F5) to see the new covers.

Re: Importing covers from itunes
From what I understood, itunes will update the id3 tag with the cover art. I'll have to check that out though.
