A few questions...

Please forgive me if I'm asking a few questions that may have popped up, and I have searched but not found definitive answers.

1. I've purchased a 5 user key. Do I use the same key for all 5 installations? I guess this 'is' the case as I never received any others, but would like to be sure.

2. On a mac installation, there is no actual 'installation' so to speak. The program is in my applications folder of course but if I download a new version and upgrade, do I just overwrite the old one? Will the settings stay intact (album art references etc & registration info)?

3. I've installed the prog on another machine spanning the same NAS HD for the music files. However, the new install does not know where the album art is placed, although I have fixed this on the first installation. Is there a settings file I can copy across to give the second install this info? I don't fancy correcting hundreds of covers for the second time. (cross platform osx to PC)

first: Welcome aboard!

To your questions:

1. Yes. You use the same program and the same key for all installations.

2. Yes. On OS X, just overwrite the existing program file for updates. Your settings are stored somewhere else and will stay intact.

3. You can try to share the mymusic.db file, use the to place it somewhere on the NAS. However, please note, that this is not officially supported. The "normal" way is to use separate mymusic.db files for each installation. To make sure, each installation uses the same covers, rename the "correct" cover to cover.jpg and most things should be fine.
