karaoke mode using .lrc files

I have not had any success using .lrc files in karaoke mode. Here is an example of the file:

[00:01]Dance her by me one more time
[00:12]the girl you're with used to be mine
[00:17]I'll try to smile when you'lldance by
[00:23]I don't want her see me cry
[00:30]In the heart that you might know
[00:36]lives a mem'ry of long ago
[00:44]So for a fool that was so blind
[00:50]please dance her by me one more time
[01:01]Until she's gone I never knew how to cry
[01:11]oh I was so wrong
[01:18]to ever say goodbye
[01:24]Though I lost the one you love
[01:33]she's still a girlI dream of
[01:39]So for a fool that was so blind
[01:54]please dance her by me one more time
[01:59](Dance her by me onemore time)

The file is saved in the same folder as the song and by the same file name as the song. I used the .lrc extension insted of the txt extension for notpad.

Anyone know what is wrong?

I will answer my own question.
I had the extension wrong. It was "name.lrc.txt" make sure hide extensions is unchecked in the tools>forder options>view. Sorry to bother your all but maybe this will help someone else
