Disturbed play with external drive

Dear Silverjuke team,

I am using a music library located on an external USB drive that spins downs (energy saving mode) after 10 min of inactivity (WD MyBook Pro). According to information found on WD's homepage, this behavior unfortunately can not be altered.
It appears to me that once Silverjuke (in play mode) runs out of data and has to access the drive again, it sometimes finds the drive being in power save mode. As a consequence the play is disrupted and stops for about 1-2 seconds.

Is there any setting in Silverjuke that could prevent this nasty behavior?

Have you tried the option "Optimize for performance" (Right click the drive letter -> Settings -> Hardware -> Double click the driver -> Policies):

For me, this helped me with my problems with my USB drive. If not, maybe playing around with similar windows/drive options may help.
