I recently found out that by clicking on the little cover in the playlist you can actually enlarge it. Very nice! However, I was a bit disappointed to see the same enlarged cover stay on while the playlist continued. Is there a way to automatically show the album cover of the current track?

Not for the enarged cover view, but you can let Silverjuke scroll to the playing titles - this has also the advantage that the track list is displayed, too
To enable this option, open the settings dialog and select the page "Playback / Automatic control". There, click on "Further options" and check the "Go to current track" option.
You can also define a timeout here.

I'd like to jump on a similar note. I also love the album cover view, but I wish there was a visualization that would show the album cover in addition to the song and title. In kiosk mode, this would be quite nice.

I like the "go to current track option" and I use that already. However, I would really like to be able to see from some distance which album is currently playing.
Perhaps this should indeed take the form of some visualization, as suggested above.
Can this be solved with a script?

P.S: This week I have used Silverjuke to "loosen up" a new amplifier. It has been playing constantly for 5 days without any problems other than one corrupt flac file. Spitzenklasse!

Re: Large cover that changes with next track
I considered purchasing eJukebox over SilverJuke for this very reason. The eJukebox now playing window contains a large image of album cover along with other information (song title, album name, label, etc.). SilverJuke was significantly better in too many other ways and in the end decision was pretty easy.
However, if the SilverJuke developers are looking for an example of what these users seem to asking for, I recommend checking out the eJukebox site (http://www.audiosoft.net)

But the cover does change with the track - just create a skin with the targets "DisplayCover", "CurrTrack", "NextTrack" and/or "CurrTime (see http://www.silverjuke.net/sdk/box-targets.html ) and everything should be fine.

Re: Large cover that changes with next track
I realize this is an old thread, but this addresses one of the questions I had in my previous post. First, the "Go to current track" option suggested above only goes down to one minute. So, a track will be playing for a minute before it goes to the track. I still would like to see a visualization that does this, as would others, it appears. Did anyone ever come up with a solution to this? I don't know how to program, or I would do it myself.
