First off silverjuke rocks... I wouldn't use anything else...
I have silverjuke running in my basement (bar area) and it plays down there as well as upstairs in my rec room. Is there a way to control the downstairs jukebox from upstairs somehow? like another silverjuke computer that would be like a slave where the primary one is the master?
thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

There are already some threads with this topic, eg.

Maybe this already helps you a little.

Re: Remote Jukeboxes
As the author of the thread quoted above I too would love to see this in a new build.
Silverjuke Team -Is there any chance of seeing something soon, or is there a way to do it with the current system?

Re: Remote Jukeboxes
YES!
How complicated would this be to add Silverjuke team, care to comment?

Re: Remote Jukeboxes
This is the only main lack in SJ for me (more than the video features that many requested as well).
In my opinion, the main SJ instance would need an http server "listening" to requests. This would be the hardest part for me (as I'm not too skilled in software programming), to manage requests and acknowledgments to the clients.
From the client side, the simplest solution would be to have a skin which reproduces the same server skin except that instead of the sj scripting commands, the http string commands.
EG. Player.next() would become http://sjserveraddress/remote?player=next
It's just an idea me and Frechi spoke about some time ago, taking place from my experience of usage of WAWI and BrowseAMP (winamp plugins).
The skin could be a single skin both for client and server with a simple switch, so that you can use the same sj instance either to control local audio or remote audio (provided that the sj database and library are the same over the LAN's house).
It would be a dream come true to see this implemented!
And I would gladly actively contribute on this in any way!
