empty playlist

Is there a way to automatically empty the playlist upon double-click (play this song right now)?
To be clear :
when I double-click to play a new song, the previous selected songs remain in the playlist and are played after the last selected one.
I'd like the playlist to be empty each time I select a new song to play.

I think you know about the option "Playback > Play tracks at once on double clicks" in the context menu?

This should be the one half

To delete the songs left: Maybe a little script can do this job? Eg. by removing everything "old" every seconds? Just an idea.

But this does not remove all previously sleected songs which remained enqueued and get played after the whole double-clicked album.
