Just out of curiosity, how quickly do your other jukebox developers release updates after adding in all of your suggestions?
Maybe it's been 12 months, but to me that's still better than companies (a la Apple) that take the same amount time, but add in nothing that the user base was asking for. Based on the beta, it's clear that the Silverjuke team listens to it's users.
[to be honest, I think a lot of us ask for some pretty ridiculous features--ones that seem to benefit absolutely no one, but the person asking. For the Silverjuke team to even consider is pretty remarkable]

Re: Has Work On Silverjuke Stopped???
Hey, is it too much to ask to log in before joining such an important discussion as this one?
Some good news: I have now returned from a short exciting flirt with J-River MediaJukebox (with new versions coming out once a month if I count correctly) because it is too demanding on my system. I admit that it feels good returning to Silverjuke's speed, stability and simplicity.
But then again: please consider ASIO and kernel-streaming support. Any serious music player NEEDS that on XP, and if you have a system powerful enough to run Vista you could also run J-River without problems.

Re: Has Work On Silverjuke Stopped???
I totally agree on the superiority of sj. I chosed it mainly for the interface, the resources used, and the db size! Consider that other software used up to 10 times the size of the db, I had db files of 90Mb and the resources took a lot of cpu. SJ might need a slow developement but it's worth the waiting!!!
Re: Has Work On Silverjuke Stopped???
ive given up on ASIO ever happening for SJ, i loved this program so much 2 years ago, but there is no headway being made on it at all, i fear the devolopers have lost intrest in the product, and although the support is good, i see that as a way just to milk every last bit out of its product without updating and giving new features, i hope im wrong but im moving on to other avenues that quench my need.
Re: Has Work On Silverjuke Stopped???
Why do you think work on Silverjuke has stopped? There are valid beta versions, see http://forum.silverjuke.net/viewtopic.php?t=2702 , with many new features. Of course, not every wish can be archived, I would also like to see Silverjuke with ASIO support
