I recently came back to Silverjuke after a long time and downloaded the latest demo version. So far, I REALLY like what I see since my collection is cover oriented.
I also have scans of all album/CD artwork in each album's folder (tray, booklet pages, etc). JRiver Media Center, Winamp, WMP and Meedio all have plugins or a built in slideshow feature to show all artwork in the folder of the track/album whiile it's playing. Since I use my PC as a home theater PC (on my 60" HD set) being able to view all artwork while a track is playing is visually pleasing.
My point: I know Silverjuke is able to use Winamp vis plugins, but after trying for several hours, I can't get it to load or use ANY of the different album art slideshow plugins. It may be that they are considered "general" plugins, not vis plugins, but still, is there any way to do what I am trying to accomplish. If there is, then Silverjuke is the best looking solution to my music library playback needs.
Silverjuke has the best overall use of cover art (folder.jpg) of any program I've used, so if this can be done, for me, it's a keeper.
Thanks for any info.......
Using Winamp/WMP slideshow plugins?

Re: Using Winamp/WMP slideshow plugins?
As a follow up to my above post: I just found out from another thread in the "Wishlist" forum that after a cover is enlarged by double-clicking on it, you can advance through the artwork by using the right/left keys. This looks sensational, but, is there a way to automate this (without using the keys)? Here's the hread:

This would be perfect for my use, but perhaps there is a way to make it automatic through a script. Just a thought.

Re: Using Winamp/WMP slideshow plugins?
Regarding the first post - sorry, not every winamp plugin works in Silverjuke. As you mentioned, the plugin may be a "general purpose" plugin or uses other special/undocumented functions.
To the second post: In the upcoming version, the "large cover view" may be automated and will be updated automatically, see http://forum.silverjuke.net/viewtopic.php?p=6046#p6046 - maybe this comes to our direction?
Best regards,
Your Silverjuke Team

The automated large cover view should be perfect for my needs!
Thanks for the follow up and anxiously waiting for the next update to the program with this feature included. Should make it the best program of it's type.
