Maybe i have missed a simple setting (which would be good because then my problem will be easy to fix :))...
I simply want all of my music to be sorted by album ONLY and to be in alphabetical order of the albums.
I hope i've explained this well enough, if not please let me know and I will try again :D
Thanks,
Peter

Re: Sort by album
Currently, the album view in Silverjuke is always sorted by "Lead artist name - Album Name - Year" which seems to be nice for most users. If I understand you correctly, you want a sort order like "Album Name - Lead artist name - Year", which would let appear albums of the same artist at different places in the album view. I think we could easily add an option for this, but: Is this really useful? and: Why?

Yes, this is mainly for ease of use for me personally.
I just downloaded the trial of Silverjuke and this is the only problem I have seen so far, everything else is great :D.
However,
I have a rather large music collection and in most of my other music programs everything is sorted by album (including how I organise them in explorer). This means that I have learnt where albums are in relation to others (ie: if album 'X' is on the screen, I know that album "blah blah" is 3 to the right. Also I know about where an album is if I am looking for a particular song.
I understand that most people probably have their music sorted by artist but im sure there are some people who are like me and are used to album. I hope you are able to implement an option for which way round you sort the music.
Oh and 1 other small thing. I have a touchpad on my laptop which has left/right scroll as well as up and down. The left/right scroll doesn't seem to work to scroll through the music. I think this would be a good addition and also think you should enable an option to swap the axis over (ie: scrolling up and down [the only option i have on my usb mouse) can be swapped to scroll through the music instead).
Thanks for listening to my ideas and I hope you are able to include them in your next version :)
Thanks,
Peter

Regarding the sorting order: Okay, we've understood, the next (beta-) version will have the following options at "Settings / My music library / Combine tracks to albums":
To your other point:

If your touchpad emmits normal "mouse wheel" events - does the option at "Settings / Basic settings / Further options / Mouse wheel" help you turning round the axis? Btw: you can always switch the axis by holding the CTRL key or the right mouse button when scrolling.
However, we should check supporting both axis at the same time - more and more mices with two scroll wheels (or sth. like that) seems to be available.

Thanks for your report - we've just released Silverjuke 1.15beta4 which fixes this bug. As always, the new version is available in the beta-test forum (log-in required).
