Silverjuke 2.10beta7 released

Hello,

in the customer area of this site, you'll find a new beta version of Silverjuke, Silverjuke 2.10beta7 for Windows and OS X. The version was already tested internally and is now open for all customers. If you are interested in the beta-version, just log-in using your e-mail address.

Please post all comments affecting this version to this thread. We expect the "official" 2.10 release in the next weeks.

V2.10beta7 (Open test version, 19.09.2006)

* The settings from "Combine tracks to albums/Stop-words" and from "Advanced/Mouse: Double click on covers" are also used for the list view now
* New skin target <box target="currTrack"> <box target="currTime">
* New skin attribute <box text="...">
- Unneeded empty lines removed from list view
- List view cover-clicking problems fixed; this bug was introduced in V2.10beta6

* MP4 tags and embedded covers are read now
* New option "Read hidden files" in the source options of a folder, defaults to "on"; this is useful eg. for covers saved by the Windows Media Player with the "hidden" attribute
* Added case-insensitivity for german umlauts and special characters of other languages
* New skin attribute "hideCreditInDisplay"; this may be used for the "currCredit" target
- Fixed a little "zoom" bug introduced in V2.10beta3
- Corrected the forwarding of UTF-8-encoded strings to the web services for cover and information search
- If not yet done, existing databases are automatically converted to UTF-8
- Fixed a bug that lead to crashes when saving ID3-tags with bad genre data
- Different decoders that use the same extensions (eg. AAC and ALAC both use .m4a) can be used at the same time now
- Allowing lower case Xiph-comment identifiers in Ogg-tags
- Improved vis. stopping
- "Auto Play / Wait N Minutes" now also pauses autoplay for the given time span
- Mac OS X port updated

* Separate FX settings for output, prelisten output, microphones and AutoPlay
* New option "Playback / Autom. Control / Manually enqueued tracks interrupt AutoPlay immediately"
* French localization updated
* New option "Further options / Display: Show AutoPlay" which prepends automatically enqueued tracks in the display by the string "AutoPlay"
* New skin attribute "visAutoStart" that may be used for the "visrect" target in kiosk mode
* New skin target <box target="currCredit"> and new skin condition <if cond="creditsystem">
- Fixed a bug that crashes the kiosk mode if the system tray was not used, this bug was introduced in 2.10beta3
- Avoid saving covers to themselves
- The option "Stop vis. after n minutes" works as expected again, this bug was introduced in 2.10beta3

* Microphone support added, see "Settings / Playback"
* New option "Kiosk mode / Avoid double tracks waiting in queue"
* The karaoke prompt can now use background images (see the context menu in the karaoke window)
* New function: Goto next/prev letter - you may define a shortcut for this or use it in your skins
* If the mouse is over the "A-Z" buttons, the wheel scrolls one letter up/down; if the mouse is over the scrollbar, the whell scroll one page up/down/left/right (can both be disabled at "Settings/Advanced/Further options/Mouse wheel: Context-sensitive")
* The visualization screen may be placed anywhere outside the workspace now
* Shortcuts can be defined for "Seek Forward" and "Seek backward" now
* Remembering different zoom settings for the different views by default; this behaviour can be disabled at "Further options / View: Same zoom in all views"
- For a better kiosk mode safety, we hide the taskbar now and disable the "scroll lock" key
- For skinning: The text size in the search input controls scales to fit the real size of the control now
- "Use hardware" is no longer enabled by default
- Microphone support added
- "Use system volume" options moved to "Advanced / Further options"
- "Automatic volume control" and "Fading" moved to "Playback / Automatic control"


V2.10beta1 (Internal release, 11.08.2006)

* New Karaoke options: Silverjuke shows the lyrics from CDG and LRC files now
* New "Open playlist" dialog

Hi, Really enjoy (and bought) your software. I am trying the beta version and think karaoke support will be enjoyed by many. I already have my mp3's tagged with lyrics (no karaoke) and would like to have them displayed some way. Is this a possibility?

Currently, Silverjuke only supports karaoke text in the formats CDG and LRC, however, in one of the next versions we may add the support of other formats and lyrics display - maybe mp3-embedded-lyrics then.

alles tiptop CurrentTrack funzt. ,für was ist eigentlich <box text> gedacht habs probiert gibt einfach den von mir eingegebenen text aus .
Hab alles auf meine Dragon gespielt funzt. io
Sie hat noch eine Service Oberfläche da kommst man mit einem Schlüsselschalter rein (F11).
Nächste Woche bekomme ich noch die Front vom Airbrusher mit dem Tribal Dragon drauf.
Dann zusammen bauen und der Termin ist geschafft . Geht am 4.Oktober in Bern an eine Ausstellung.

Naja, genau dafür ist es gedacht So kann man auf einige Grafiken verzichten bzw. vermeiden, daß unterschiedliche Fonts in den Bildern und in der Anzeige verwendet wird, z.B.

<box text="Aktueller Kredit:" ... />
<box target="currCredit" ... />

was noch sehr schön währe "nur so eine anregung"
wenn der aktuelle track info scrollen würde
ist manchmal eine platzfrage da währe es schön wenn der text im display laufen würde.
