Poll: How large is your music library?

We here at Silverjuke do not know anything about how large the music libraries "out there" are ... this poll may be a possibility to give us a rough overview about this. If we've missed some poll options or if you have any comment, your post is welcome in this thread and in this forum!

ok so only 30,000+? yea I’m running a WD500 HD and I think I may need a new one soon. I’m running well allot of albums with close to 10 tracks per-album (avarage) its a big collection I know, I used to work as a DJ for a bar that went under I was sad to see it go but I got the disks so it was a win lose situation. any how in response to the question I’m finding that most people I talk to around campus here have between 1 to 20 gigs of music on their pc, but do consider that the people your going to cater to should have about 5,000 to 20,000 tracks being the average bar owner who’s sick and tired of paying outlandish fees to have a juke in the bar.

The thing is, with having a selection of full albums, the issue of too much variety. In reality, unless you are useing it for a home system, do you REALLY want your cutomers to put in Type o Negative's "Bad Ground" off the October Rust album or something as equally obnoxious? youre better served putting in whatever's popular on the radio, with a few hundred "classics" for what kind of bar you would have this in. Buying about 10 cd's a week for 10 popular songs could pay off in the long run, but will it be cose effetcive unless you have a REALLY busy setting?
Most people I know have select CDs that they ripped out of their collection (between 50-100 cd's) and about 1-5 gigs total size.
Me? I'm running out of useable mp3 space, dual 250s with about 37% free on a PC that is supposed to do everything.
I use Silverjuke in a personal setting, for social events at my house, no money at all, and noone can complain about the selection I have cause its FREE.

so far i know is that most cd-jukeboxes can load 100 cd's

79.944 tracks, and no problems with playing and loading.
Itunes needs a lot of time to load and read.....

Too much to play it in a lifetime....
