Are there any plans to make SilverJuke an iPhone or iPad application? It would be awesome to be able to use this on my iPad and just click on a song with my finger to add it to the song queue. Please?

Synchronicity. Yesterday I decided to start looking into the possibility for an iPhone remote app for SJ. My Apple experience is currently under 15 minutes in total, but I'm a quick learner. Who knows what will come out of this... 8-)

Awesome stuff if you can figure it out...I'd pay ya double (or maybe one and half times? haha) the cost for the current license...love the program either way though...thanks!

Unless I'm very much confusing you with someone else we emailed about you helping me with an android implementation. But then you did not reply anymore to either email or forum PM. In case your spamfilter kicked in to aggresively: my last email to you was 23 nov 2010, my last PM 3 dec 2010.

For everyone else:

I am indeed looking into either an iPhone or Android app. Both are possible, although it came as a nasty shock to me that for an iPhone app I would need an actual Mac to sign it instead of the virtual ones I've been using. And no, I'm not interested in developing only for jailbroken phones.

And buying a 2nd hand entry-level Android phone as testing platform is a lot cheaper than buying a 2nd hand entry-level Mac for signing apps. So it might end up being Android - although personally I'd prefer iPhone.

But before I invest any money or more time in this I need a crucial development hook in Silverjuke. I have good faith this hook might appear in a 3.x version, but my guess (and hope ;-)

) is that SJ-Team is currently busy with ironing video bugs and not with implementing hooks for possible future iPhone or Android remotes.

So the future might carry something interesting, but don't hold your breath...

It was indeed me. I, however, never saw any emails. I started with some entry level apps for myself but soon lost momentum once I hadn't heard back from you. Can you send me your ideas again. I would be willing to help out or at least discuss some ideas once some more time found itself available. Sorry again about the non-response.
