Kiosk bug

Hi SilverEagle,

Sorry for the length of away time here. It was a combination of frustration on not being able to make any sense as to why it wasn't working, and trips to the Mayo clinic in Florida. The last couple days I have done some more testing. Strangly, if I launch the kiosk through an AHK script in HyperSpin, the Kiosk will work. When I launch it straightaway is when the sound does not work. Also doesn't work if for some reason Minilyrics launches a box saying it could not find SJ, but that was part of my HyperSpin script timing. Just a note thought that that was also causing the sound to stop. It seems any time SJ loses focus it auto-mutes. Although straight into kiosk mode should give it full focus, so am not sure why that should happen there. Anyways, if it works in hyperSpin, then that is the functionality I want, so I can live with it as long as it works this way. :)

Only one question/issue... is there a way to assign exit to the escape key? Even though I tried adding to my script to send F11 when pressing the escape key for some reason it does not work. If I manually pull out the keyboard and press F11 it works. So I would like to be able to assign the escape key to be the exit key for my cab. Any way to accomplish this? Thanks!

Sorry, no idea. Esc is not listed as a default shortcut in the options, so probably it is hardcoded - which is maybe better left this way as it is one of those keys windows has its own mind about. Don't forget Escape has more functionality like clearing the searchfield, you would then have to assign another key to that as well, and I wonder what key might make sense there besides ESC?

But maybe SJ-Team knows if ESC can be remapped?

No, the ESC key cannot be remapped - for the reasons you mentioned above.
