Find duplicates and delete from library

I'm fairly new to this program so forgive if this is already doable, but I'd like to be able to search for duplicates by title and artist and delete those, if so desired, from the library (but not the disk).

You can only hide duplicated titles, see "Settings / Advanced / Further options / Track list: Show double tracks"

AFAIK, for the deletion of double tracks, you have to use external software (sorry, I have no concrete tip for this at the moment)

Thanks for the reply and for pointing out that setting. I agree that should work but it doesn't seem to. I've got two Beatles tracks (and others, I'm sure) that are the same title and same duration and they both appear in the listing even though "show double tracks" is set to "No". Perhaps if duplicate tracks are from different albums they aren't considered "double".

I think you're right about the deletion of tracks; can only be done outside SilverJuke.

You need one which work on a binary level.
Since these days we got way more files other than media it's a worthwhile piece of software to get anyway...

I use DupFinder (duplicate file finder) which for me has worked pretty well.

Silverjuke, pls don't ban me I'm not advertising I promise (it IS freeware).

It takes a while to run (Binary hash or something prolly why) but so far it's been dead accurate for me.
