Because it is --db, not --dd...

The rest of your line should work, I just tried and to my surprise Silverjuke handles \\-style database locations without any problem. No idea why I never could get them to work previously...

how could I ignore that I wrote - dd and not - db, now I will go out and commit suicide, how should I do it:

hang myself
shoot myself
jumping from a tall building
or
jump out in front of a truck
