Karaoke Songs Hide & Show

Sirs, Hi,

Hope you all had a good Christmas.

Does any Skin or Module allow the hiding or showing of the available Karaoke songs within Kiosk mode? (I am aware that the library could be updated etc from the settings menu)

I would like to be able to prevent users from selecting Karoake songs when using our jukeboxes as 'jukeboxes' but for them then to see just the Karaoke songs when they want to use the jukebox as a karoake player.

can't you use a music selection for this? eg. exclude all songs from "c:\music\karaoke" ...

Thanks for the suggestion - but whilst this could be done it is a bit fiddly on a touchscreen and requires some competence on the part of the user.

I would much prefer a single button that somehow swapped the displayed music tracks for the available Karaoke songs.

Any ideas?

having not got a reply from Rob on this - could anyone else help with adapting a version of the Silverness Touched Skin so as to add the Karaoke button referred to above.

Hi Chris,

If I add toggle button to the skin which just activates two preset selections "karaoke" and "NonKaraoke", can you yourself create your own music selections, called precisely that, which show the songs you want for both cases? I'll make it that the button is only active while outside kioskmode.

If so I'll hack something together for you, this weekend or begin of next week (no charge, just donate some of those 50 pounds to a charity of your choosing )
