Remote Silverjuke Control

Well: yes. First of all the songposition which is communicated to the slave is always one timertick ahead of the real position. During my tests this seemed a reasonable average. Five seconds is really weird, I have no explanation for that.

But the "clipping the end" should not be a problem, the audio output of the slave is to be considered an unreliable by-product. If you want to spread the music throughout multiple rooms you should connect the audio-out of the master to multiple loudspeakers. Either connect the line out, or add more speakers, or even send the audio over a network link to the slave PC. As long as you don't listen to the SJ output on the slave.

No idea, I just downloaded 3.01 and for me it starts up normally with BlueTouch V3 beta 13 and the networkplugin.

You could try deleting the registry \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Silverjuke\networkplugin, maybe there is some garbage in there.

Hey Silvereagle! Thank you! Now it works... But i have an other problem with the networking.dll. Probably you can help me out

After some time Silverjuke Master is gone. Silverjuke is not running anymore. I got an error message:
Networking_v02.dll (BASS_VST_ChannelSetDSP)


Sorry for that but you have any idea?

I cannot reproduce that. Some Q's:

- How long should I wait for "some time"?
- What is the master doing when it disappears: just playing, changing to the next song, busy processing changes you made on the client?
- Can you describe a chain of actions for me to do for which it always disappears?

Master just playing a Song, and then silverjuke "crash". Sometimes i restart Silverjuke, after a few seconds Master crashed again. It's difficult to discribe. Sometimes the master runs 1 hour befor it crash.

Today i will reinstall the hole system probably something else is wrong...

After reinstalling the hole computer, Silverjuke works! But it stops after 30 Songs (60, 90, 120) but i don't get any error message. It just stops playing! I have to push the "Play" Button. After 30 songs it stops again.

I'm sorry but i still have the same error:

Error: Line 1: SyntaxError: line 1: unexpected character '\u0002'

I don't know what to do. Try this on different systems with different OS.

But allways the same error!


Any solution for that?

Hi,

I discovered SJ about a week ago and with the help of team viewer it fitted the bill for what I wanted to do but discovering this mod just makes it perfect!!
Unfortunately though I cant get it to work... Hoping you can offer some advise?

I have SJ 2.74 installed on 2 pc's. One is my main PC with my music library on a seperate drive ( drive E:) this will be my server,
The other i want to behave as the client.

my E: drive is set to share with EVERYONE and when I add the E: drive as the directory on the client it accepts it and fills my library.
I have your network_v02.dll file in both SJ folders on both machines & have left the network settingson the server as the default settings (master).
The client is set as a slave also with the default port, refresh & poll settings & i have entered the server computers name into the server name field.

I then que up some music on the server & start it playing then head to the client, I open SJ on the client and it shows me whats playing on the server
in the playlist but almost immediately I get a continually growing list of messages in the console with the details repeatedly saying
"cannot open default output, playback error 23 & 0ms needed to free 2181k of 2282k (10794 of 12298 blocks)"

Any ideas? I really hope I can get this resolved, I've been searching for this exact setup for years. really appreciate the effort thats goes into this type of stuff.
