Graphite-ts 1.66-XGA-V1.0 Skin

Release notes:

- This is a minor mod to Frenchi’s Graphite-ts 1.66 skin.
- This is optimized for XGA 1024x768 touchscreens in kiosk mode, which the original did not work properly at that resolution.
- You can read the original details in my posts in Frenchi’s Graphite forum topic.
- Note I am really not a script coder, but I managed to hack/slash this to do what I wanted. So, I can’t really take on any requests, because I don’t fully understand the skin scripting.

Feature Enhancements
- Quick launch Letters (A-*) have been resized for better XGA touchscreen fit
- Artist/Genre/Year filter column entries reduced from 24 to 17, resize for better XGA touchscreen fit.

Bug Fix:
- In my first mod attempt (graphite-ts XGA), filter column entries had script errors, which did not show the last x number of entries. For example, if you selected YEAR, it would only show up to ~2002, even though there were tracks up to 2012.

Known bugs/Errors:
- Console error when initially launching skin “A scrollbar should have 5x3 or 3x5 subimages….”
- “Covers” view will sometimes have a distracting image border around it. It can sometimes be fixed by switching from COVERS>PLAYLIST>COVERS view, usually this “erases” the bad border. This is an anomoly in Frenchi’s original skin, and I don’t know how to fix it. Note it usually doesn’t appear at resolutions higher than XGA.

Even with the errors noted above, the skin works much better at XGA mode with a 15” touchscreen. I’ve put in a request to original developer Frenchi to help fix those errors, but I have not heard back from him.

I hope this improves things for those XGA Touchscreen owners out there!

ich hätte eine Frage zu diesem schönen Skin: kann ich irgendwo einstellen, dass nicht bei jedem Start die Künstlerdatenbank aktualisiert wird und das der Filter per default auf Artist und nicht auf Year steht ?

I had to translate the above, which should be: "Hello, I had a question about this beautiful skin: I can set somewhere that not every time the artist database is updated and the filter is on by default and not by Year?

That's a question best answered by the original creator Frenchi; that gets into code I am not familiar with. I'm glad you liked my mod. :)
