You don't. You can create a music search (ctr-f) which limits to a genre, and then tell SJ to limit kioskmode to that music search.
Which is useful (and meant) when you are having for instance a 70's party, but not for finding just a single 70's song to queue.
Try any other skin for normal SJ genre searching, or even my Shiruba/100 for very powerfull combined searches with genre, artist, year and rating.

Somehow I don't doubt that
(I might just save myself the trouble of posting each minor release, dub you official BlueTouch betatester, and just PM releases to you instead of pestering the whole world

You are most welcome. But thanks in return to you and anyone else who reports issues or asks for features - developing is even more fun if you see the produkt is actually used!

Re: Eagle BlueTouch & RedTouch Skin
Hi Mezwurm,
"Skinstyle" messages are on my TODO-list, and I am also thinking about offering a config page with all text used in the skin to allow people to create a translation, or in your case just modify a message.
Only issue here is that there is no vertical or horizontal text centering support in SJ, so I currently have no idea how to let a user change a very short to a very long message like you'd want to
One piece of advice though to solve all this: If you can zip & unzip files, and know how to use a text editor (notepad would do), just unzip the skin and change the texts yourself in the *.sj files. It is even fun to do

Re: Eagle BlueTouch & RedTouch Skin
Hi SilverEagle,
Thanks for pointers, I will have a bit of a fiddle about.
Looking forward to the "skinstyle" messages, they would really pull the whole thing together and make us forget we are running Windows!
Maybe the Silverjuke team will introduce vertical and horizontal text centering support in a future release?
Thanks again,
Mezwurm.

Re: Eagle BlueTouch & RedTouch Skin
Hi again SilverEagle,
Just been having a little bit more of a play about with the credit mode and was wondering if there was a way round the following:
If the "no more credit" error box is onscreen any attempted credit key presses will not register a credit until the box is shut with a mouse click or return key press.
It would be great (and a lot neater)to have the box shut automatically with a credit key press and also register a credit (all with the one action).
Is this possible? Do you have any ideas?
Mezwurm.

Re: Eagle BlueTouch & RedTouch Skin
Hello All,
A big new release for Blue Touch! Major new features are:
QWERTY style search keyboard (AZERTY still on the todo list...)
All usermessages now in skin-style messagebox
Resizable from 1024x768 upwards, userconfigurable coverart zoom & count in the main & search screens
Dubious tested again, so the worst bugs should be squashed. But it is a total rewrite, so please report any anomalies.
Enjoy!

Good timing for your questions, I think the new native skinstyle messagebox for v2.00 solves this

Well, I'm almost there. The credit count is now visibly increased while the box is shown (free sideeffect of skinning my own message), I'll put automatically closing on the todo. In fact I'll even continue to the confirmation screen. (Asking confirmation even when normally disabled, you would not by accident want to pay for someone elses rejected queue request).
Thinking about it: I'll put a idle-counter on the whole system, putting you back to the main screen after x secs inactivity.
