Ahhh, you mean it worked the same as the Auto-search-all plugin for normal skins? Did not know that anymore about my own skin, I made quite some effort to have it respect the active selection

Your request absolutely makes sense, but I'll make it an option. I can also imagine the skin being used on a party with a limit to for instance "70's music" selection which also should be respected by the search.

An option sounds great.

I saw the code you wrote to make the search respect the music selection, and felt bad asking you to circumvent it. But, as you mentioned, the limited search definitely has it's place; you don't want people queuing up Death Metal at your Christmas party (well, most people don't, anyway).

Hi All,

The BlueTouch skin now has an option to allow the search to process the full library even if a kioskmode music selection is active. By default this is activated, use the skins setup to enable this.

See 2.04 version in the top post.

Hey SE, I tried out 2.04 and the full library search is not working quite right, at least for me. The system stops responding for long periods during a search, and I can't scroll through the results at all. This happens whether or not I am in Kiosk mode. If I deactivate the full library search, searching works fine.

I tried changing the functionality options in Kiosk mode (Search for Genre, Search for Music Selection) but it didn't help. I hope this can be fixed; let me know if there's any way I can help.

Well, if you could put some more hours in my days? If you have the impression my posted scripts and skinupdates lately are all quickies, you are right. I just do not even take the time to test them beyond firing them up once with a testset which is far too limited...

But next time I'll mail you a new feature first for beta-testing instead of polluting this nice forum

I loaded 2.05 this morning and the full library search seemed to work ok; I'll give it a thorough testing over the next couple days.

I think this skin is nearly perfect; it's a wonderful combination of a simple interface with a powerful set of options underneath. Thanks for adding these finishing touches, SilverEagle; I love early Christmas presents.

you told me in the german forums, that it is impossible to load a playlist via

Is there another way to realize it? So i would like to put 4-5 songs via a shortcut at the top of the playlist. Maybe with a script that looks like that:

player.addAtPos(0,'D:\xyz0.mp3');
player.addAtPos(1,'D:\xyz1.mp3');
player.addAtPos(2,'D:\xyz2.mp3');
player.addAtPos(3,'D:\xyz3.mp3');
.....

I guess this should work, but i dont now how the code has to look like exactly, can you help me out?

Silvereagle well done on a clean neat simple skin. (blue 205qwerty) its the only reason ive bought silverjuke.
is it at ALL possible to add a volume control? maybe a slider across the top? Just to make life easier in kiosk mode as many of my songs (im sure others have this problem too) are very different volumes. sometimes too at a party it would be great to drop the volume down to background level quickly and easily.
