No, I agree with you that using images will be the best way, but at the actual status of Silverjuke this is not possible.

-team told me that they will take this perhaps for a future version, but today it is not possible.

First of all: looks really good your skin. Really good.
I understand your idea regarding the rating, and this was also my first idea when I've started with the rating idea. Problem is that Silverjuke scripting does actually only accept to change text during runtime on skins, so lighting up the the 5 green buttons/LEDs will not be possible (hopefully one day, but today (as per Vers. 2.52 beta 15): no (at least not as per my knowledge).
One idea I had was to use a character like a full square (like ASCII code 219) and to put this one in background of a box with a transparent window to create a graphic, but I didn't succeeded. If anybody has an idea on this: I will be happy.

Why not, I'm open to get inspirations from everywhere. Good idea to open a thread with ideas on skins/layouts based on existing soft, and perhaps we will create a little bit creativity to build up functions we are looking for...
