If you are already familiar with HTML, maybe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XML will help you understanding XML.

Note that XML is no concrete set of tags as HTML is - you only have to understand the syntax - Maybe our SDK at http://www.silverjuke.net/sdk/skin-howto.html is a little bit clearer then ...

However, as I am no native english speaker (as you will have noticed ;-)) I cannot give you some links to "great" tutorials. Maybe some other forum users have some ideas here.
