I noticed this too, and also it seems that when viewing albums it shows the artist, not the album artist under where the cover is (in the view when selecting the tracks). For example if i click on a compilation 'Rock Hits' where i have named the 'album artist' to 'various artists', comes up with a random artist under the cover and where it says 'rock hits'. In my case it says Nirvana instead of various artists.

Thanks for that description, it all starts to sound more like a bug than just a feature request. I'll look into it in a week or so, first going to have a family spring outing

Most important change is the better (I hope) handling of compilations. In the SJ advances settings you can set the compilation cover preferance to "track" (default is "album"), this is now respected by the skin whenever a cover for a single tracks is displayed.

Also the suggestion made by a recent guest to show the artist for each track for compilations has been implemented, nice improvement I think.

By the way: I'm still waiting for the promised SJ release to verify if the DLL and this skin will still work before I release this skin officially, but from my viewpoint the beta-ing is done: it is time to make the skin a bit more public!

Hi, just installed v12, thanks SE!

One question though, how does silverjuke find album artwork? I just imported my music collection into silverjuke and some of the albums that have artwork when I view through itunes and mediamonkey doesn't have any album artwork in silverjuke? Why does this happen and how do i fix it and manually add the artwork?

Are you still planning on a volume slider?

SJ itself does find a lot of artwork. The problem with my skin is that SJ does not allow good access to the artwork it finds, so I have to do the reading of the artwork again outside of SJ's functionality. Currently I only support ID3 albumart in files, and most graphic files in the directory for albumart. Do you know where mediamonkey says it finds your art? If you want you can PM me and I'll give you an emailaddress to send a short track which doesn't show up and I'll see what can be done.

If your remote can simulate keystrokes, you can use the normal SJ shortcuts to control the skin.
