Kiosk Mode on start?

Yes, the screenshot was exactly to avoid any mistakes on my part with explaining or typing. I created a working link, tested it, and afterwards created the screenshot. I just tried "-kiosk" for you, but that just gives an error "unknown option kiosk" (at the bottom of a big message box explaining all options).

Could someone join in here and tell us if Vista somehow behaves differently from XP?

I just had a brainwave: did you buy and register the product????

(If not registered it shows an errormessage saying --kiosk and --minimize are only supported in the paid version. But then again you should have seen the message and would know.)

Ok, 2 problems are I havnt paid yet, because I want to know it works first.
Having said that, I have not received the message yet, so I still havnt got it right, are these minus symbols ? Not dashes ?
I hav tried minus symbols, I am getting a box when I reboot saying
can't close registry key hklm\software\silverjuke'(error 6: the handle is invalid)
I hav like 210 of these messages

The "can't close registry key" error message is quite unusual and points to some larger windows problems. The error reports, that a resource we got from windows cannot be freed after usage. This should not happen, see eg. search.php?keywords=can%27t+close+registry+key

A working solution was:

- uninstall Silverjuke completely, esp. make sure the following stuff is deleted
User\AppData\Local\Temp\Silverjuke
User\AppData\Roaming\Silverjuke
in the registry: HKEY_Current_User\Software\Silverjuke
(normally all this gets uninstalled automatically)

- reinstall Silverjuke

Hi all,

I have worked out why the --kiosk function was failing intermittently.

If this happens just reduce the screen resolution.
