I think I gathered all your comments here, shout if I overlooked something.

Do you have the special SJ setting "Use shaped windows" set to off? in that case the window buttons are not shown. I could change that, but the layout messes up anyway so it would not really be useful.
In the meantime: you can config the skin using SJ options->skins->options button->skin configuration, and config the layout using rightclick->tools->layout configuration.

'...disable the borders...' Ahhh...., give them a week to grow on you, play with the sizes a little! They are nice!
Font size (not type currently) can be changed (see below), the Album year is not (yet?) optional.

Correct. You need the skins layout settings for this, the SJ setting was too limiting (only one value and even shared for all skins).

Was a bug: it used the limit even if deactivated. I'll make it display 0 if the limit is not active.

I do not understand: the button should not show on the visualization to "exit out of viz mode", but only on the main screen to "enter viz mode". And except for the timeout there is no other way to enter this mode besides a button. Note that I am talking 1-screen setups here.

I'm VERY sorry... I changed it to paint the screen in between whenever a cover was not found in the cache, should fix it for you.

Hi all,

There's a new beta11 in the top post. Changes:

- changed covers & search screen to redraw in between whenever a cover was not found in the cache
- changed queue limit to 0 (inactive) if not set in SJ
- changed auto visualization timeout to 0 (inactive) if not set in SJ
- filter is now cleared when a timeout interrupts a search

beta 11 and the search timers work as expected , excellent job.



There is something wrong with the jump to buttons at the bottom ?

Touch A and artists A come up but

Touch B and I get the C 's
Touch C and I get the B's

I changed the spacing for those buttons in beta 8, and had to reverse the order in which they were drawn for the left 13 of them. I accidentally swapped B&C, nobody but you noticed it seems

Will naturally be fixed in the next release!

SJ is my first look at this thread. I admire you, for this work. And many users enter the information about the product. Here is an error and there is a bug - and yet you're well on it. Your support is very friendly and professionally. Respect.

Pity the linenumbers of those error messages from Silverjuke are nearly useless: usually between 10-30 lines off and no mentioning which of the 12 possible files...

What you could try: copy silverjuke.exe, the skin *.sjs file and the eagletools *.dll file into a new directory, run it from there. If that fixes it you probably have multipe old versions of silverjuke or a skin lying around. Have a look in you local settings directory, they could be there as well. Or maybe there is a conflict with another SJ DLL.

Some questions:
1) You do not get a "DLL version wrong" error at the start, do you?
2) I presume you already have my skin selected, then if you start silverjuke and straight away exit, you still get the error, right?
3) If you see the error, could could click 'Details', 'Save', and post your log?
4) I suppose 'shut down' means SJ shutdown, not PC shutdown?

hi there ive just downloaded bluetouch beta and i keep getting error
messages with no covers displayed im using windows 7
