Hi,

beta 9a has survived and did excellent at a small gathering here today.

WishList:

When you select an Album the track list pops up. You already have a configurable 'idle time after which to jump to main screen' from there.

I would like a simalar 'idle time after which to jump to main screen' when in the search window.

yes I know there is a big button on the right that you can select to return to the main menu but hey some people just don't press it

Which is precisely why it should return to the main screen after the same timeout. If it doesn't you just found a bug...

Hi Silver,

the coversize on the jpg look much better, maybe you can make the blue border the same size as the white one. but i can live with that, great work.

Youre right, covers that arent shown werent tagged as frontcover.
I changed all not working covers to frontcover and it seems like it works without any issues.

great skin, good work....

just waiting for highlighting buttons for the keyboard and then its perfect.

Sorry But I have found that bug.

'idle time after which to jump to main screen'

Works:
When you select an Album the track list pops up
If you then do nothing the idle timer works and returns you to the main screen.

Works:
If you go to the search screen.
Do a Search > Select A Track and the 'Play This Song' box appears.
If you then do nothing the idle timer works and returns you to the main screen.

Does Not Work:
If you go to the search window.
Then do nothing it just stays on that screen and does not return to main window.

Does Not Work:
If you go to the search screen.
Search for something artist or song (the search results appear).
Then do nothing it just stays on that screen and does not return to main window.

This is same in normal or kiosk mode.

I'll eventually probably make the border an option for size-freaks like you

Good for now, but I'll make the library use the first image in the mp3 if no image specifically tagged as frontcover.

Hi All,

Added beta 10 to the top post.

I added the option to remove the borders of the covers on the mainscreen, fixed the timeout-not-returning-from-searchscreen bug, added a highlight-when-clicked to the keyboard, made the ID3 image fallback to the first image in the file if no image is specified as frontcover and added a dedicated configuration button in the topright to configure the layout options.

As the library has undergone some uninteresting but very memorysaving internal changes I left the previous beta & library up in case I messed up (again), especially as I'll be mostly incommunicado next week and I'm not fully sure if the library will behave without my supervision ...

I downloaded beta10 and Eagletools v0.14, but the skin claims that I am running Eagletools v0.13. It should be noted that I have not attempted to install any previous beta version so I do not have a legacy version installed.

Perhaps the incorrect version was uploaded?

I got the same problem, and another one
If I try to switch thru the covers, silverjuke crashes.
