BlueTouch V3 beta

Hello All!

New beta. Has some nice improvements I think:

- search for multiple words
- matches in search results are coloured
- keyboard support (for now only in 'jump to A-Z' and 'search input')
- added option for slow machines to only start searching after enter/OK
- improvements in locating cover-art, should now match native behaviour very closely (known issue: only external JPG image files)

Most important is the improved searching, see this screenshot for an example of finding multiple texts:

You can also limit the search to for instance tracks or albums only, that way you can easily search 'stone' to find the Dylan song "Like a Rolling Stone" without turning up your Rolling Stones collection

This is a very slick skin. Actually my favorite by far, Thanks! A couple of suggestions.
1. A Volume slider in kiosk mode. (I couldn't find a way to adjust the volume)
2. A button to switch into visualization mode to do karaoke and then to switch back.
I think these 2 additions would make this EVERYONE's favorite. Thanks for putting the effort into this silvereagle, great work!

You are in luck: both are on my todo-list after the search was finished...

what do i need to do to get the .sjs format for the extracted files? Able to unzip file, but wind up with only the files and no .sjs? Please help. Thanks

Hi All,

Beta 6...

Search interface has been streamlined to four modes with four dedicated buttons, and a button to start the visualization/karaoke mode. Fun bit: it detects what mode was selected last and uses the correct icon on the button for either mode .

Most notable addition: usersizable screenelements. Using the configuration dialog you can on some screens change the size of the image or the font. The screen will adapt itself automagically, changing the number of items as needed. Example for the main screen:

Hi All Again...

New beta. This time I did a lot of polishing in the installation department. It is now again a normal *.sjs file, not more skin-directories, separate *.dll's (well, except for my EagleTools.dll that is...) and no more extra keyborad definitions. Just put two files next to silverjuke.exe and off you go.

Bit of ranting: I used the id3lib.dll to read coverart from musicfiles, because it supports all the weirdest tag formats and such. Turns out the big beast hangs on two of my files. Yes, they were broken, but that is no reason to hang my skin! I demand more of a 500k DLL! So I discarded that and wrote 40 lines of code from scratch instead which handles most of the id3v2.3 and id3v2.4 tags. Curious if it wil perform for all of you.

Main changes beyond those:
- skin uses correct keyboardlayout as selected for native virtual keyboard
- made skin ignore mousedragging while clicking on buttons
- library uses temp directory as set by silverjuke (size limit is _not_ respected)
- added 'karaoke mode' buttons to select between two Music Selections "Karaoke Off" and "Karaoke On"

Currently the only things on my TODO list are:
- bit more userfriendly switching to/from the skin
- volume slider (if so defined in Silverjuke settings)

So if anyone has any more requests or remarks: speak now or forever hold your peace...

This may be a too big of an ask. But I would love to see some genre selection or decade selection screen added. This would make this skin the perfect skin for any occasion. And if that's possible. Maybe adding a top songs list button which looks for songs from an external text file added by the user. This would be great as a lot of the time people selecting songs need some help, otherwise they just stay by the jukebox looking for what to add and by narrowing it down it makes it a lot easier
