Volume sorted
Ended up uninstalling 2.74 and the new version. Cleared the registry and any silverjuke folders in the c drive users.
reinstalled the new version and now full volume restored.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the equaliser in the old version but it was disabled so that wouldn't be effecting the volume in 2.74. Just installed the new silverjuke and wondered if scripts will be added anytime soon.
I used the Resume script and miss the convenience of songs reloading when I restart Silverjuke, along with other scripts that I loved on the best player around.

Hi Joachim Many thanks for the detailed talk through, and your help so far. To answer your question, yes, all my tracks play on Silverjuke from their stored folder and they also all play in media player, even the tracks that are not showing up in silverjuke. Hope this helps to explain a little more....
