It seems to not be reading m4a at all, didn't notice this before, as this was the first time I tried to play them. They play fine in winamp so i know the files aren't corrupt, is there a plugin I'm missing or is that not supported?

Just a few suggestions, if you would consider them, an option to automaticly return to the album view if possible, it makes a clean looking screen. When double clicking an album in "cover view" would it be possible to open only that album up? And finally perhaps an toggle to view the album...

Looks dark and brooding, I like the white lettering, may I suggest working on the kiosk mode though too? When you open it to kiosk, the playlist comes back.
