setting the further options to NOT use system volume works. thank you very much, now i can actually test this thing out.
last night i had resorted to redirecting the sound to a different app and controlling volume from there :P

so i downloaded the trial to check out the karaoke but all my files play too loud. i have the volume slider all the way down and my computer volume on the first notch and it's pretty loud. is listenable except i can't use a mic with my system volume so low. is this normal? am i missing something? i ...
