i found Silverjuke very interesting, especially for the possibility of running from an usb drive, on wich i have my mp3 collection
i have read the documentation on setting up the ini file in the local dir, and of the possibility to manually add the db location in the main section,
nevertheless when i try nothing happens, and the program insist to create an empty db on my c:/documents and settings/username/application data/silverjuke dir.
this vanify all the aspects of having portability, not only of player but of course of the db index of the songs and covers
i have my db called mp3.db (yes, i know i'm an original guy :D) in the folder on the removable media where is installed silverjuke, i added in the main section of silverjuke.ini
db=mp3.db
but nothing changes :(
the funny thing is that if i launch the exe from the commandline and i pass the parameter --db=mp3.db it works like a charm :(
quite confused...it seems to don't read the ini at all
any clues?Statistics: Posted by n00n3 — 11. May 05, 16:24
