If you try to play unusual formats, this error may be correct, however, if you try to play an MP3-files, there may be something wrong (for various reasons, Silverjuke does not contain an MP3-decoder itself but uses the system decoder).
In the latter case,
- check if your windows media player and corresponding apps are installed correctly and the system MP3-codec is installed
- as an alternative, you can give Silverjuke an explicit MP3-decoder: Download bass24.zip from http://www.un4seen.com/download.php?bass24 and extract the containing bass.dll to the Silverjuke program directory (c:\Program Files (x86)\Silverjuke\ - overwrite the existing bass.dll)Statistics: Posted by bpetersen — 23.
