In my opinion, I think that Silverjuke is superior to all the other jukebox software out there, with the exception of ripping capability. I saw that feature in pretty much all of them, even the dogs - so I can't imagine that it would be too hard to implement. I actually thought the ripping feature was just there (until I started looking for it), especially after seeing the burning feature.
To me, it's more important to get the music from the cds on my jukebox to play on it, than it is to get them off it to play in other players.
It could even just use another program (similar to burning), such as EAC (which is an option for burning).
My jukebox is a standalone in my living room, so I will have to exit out of the software (don't want to do that) to use something else, or rip it on another computer and upload it to the jukebox. Both of these options aren't really desirable (or easy).
I'm going to buy the software regardless, but I do think that this is a critical feature that's missing.
