The reason for this may be some corrupted MP3 files or a write protected file. Have you tried to edit the tags using another program? Or: If you edit the tags with Silverjuke, does another program recognize the chagnes?
Another explanation would be, that the information "Z" does not come from the ID3 tag, but from the file name - Silverjuke uses the filename if it cannot read the ID3 tag, see . Again, if the database is updated, the information are re-read; again the reason may be some corrupted/defected file; again, can does other programs use the updated tag?
